G.I. JOE: RETALIATION Character Posters Roll Out

Could G.I. Joe: Retaliation turn out to be way better than Stephen Sommers’ original? That is a good question to ask. Usually this type of actioner goes straight to DVD but the sequel has attracted the return of several actors (Channing Tatum) and the inclusion of a few others (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Bruce Willis).

Whilst they’re hardly barometers of steady cinematic excellence, could this follow up rise above the law of diminishing movie returns and be a hoot? That will be answered when the flick is released later this summer. In the meantime have a look at these new character banners showing off the main cast. The one-sheets are pretty bland and air-brushed, but what the hey…

Signing up for some blockbuster frolics is Dwayne Johnson, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Ray Stevenson, Ray Park, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Joseph Mazzello, DJ Cotrona, Elodie Yung, Arnold Vosloo, Jonathan Pryce, Walter Goggins (one of Cinemart writer Maureen de Sousa’s favourite actors) and Wu Tang man, RZA. Cool stuff.
