“Spider-Man, Spider-Man. Remade by Sony as fast as it can…” The superhero ditty doesn’t actually go like that (obviously) but you get the point… I hope. Sam Raimi was going to direct a fourth movie then he left and the film studio decided what Spidey really needed was a fresh web spun by a new director and production team and all new actors.

British actor Andrew Garfield, who impressed everybody in The Social Network, is playing geek hero Peter Parker along with Rhys Ifans as The Lizard in this new summer blockbuster spectacular-spectacular. And now you can watch the BRAND NEW trailer from the flick has been put out online. The Amazing Spider-Man is released 4th July in UK cinemas… in 3D. The film also stars Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film is directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Laura Ziskin, Avi Arad, and Matt Tolmach are producing the Marvel Entertainment production for Columbia Pictures.
