British actress Juno Temple wowed a lot of people with her performance as Dottie in William Friedkin’s Killer Joe and she popped up very recently for a minor supporting role in The Dark Knight Rises. If there’s one actress right now receiving ‘Next Big Thing’ buzz – it’s Miss Temple.

A trailer has appeared online showcasing her new film, Jack and Diane, directed by Bradley Rust Gray, which tells of a love story between two girls and one of them might turn into a werewolf. Sounds a bit wacky. There’s another reason to get excited: the mysterious Quay brothers have shot animation sequences for the flick (you can see shots in the trailer). And if you like Aussie pop diva Kylie Minogue, she’s appearing in the movie and provided a song for the soundtrack. The film is set for release in November in the USA, so expect this at festivals in the runup.

Jack and Diane, two teenage girls, meet in New York City and spend the night kissing ferociously. Diane’s charming innocence quickly begins to open Jack’s tough skinned heart. But when Jack discovers that Diane is moving, she pushes her away. Unable to grasp her new feelings, Diane’s emotions begin to cause unexplainable violent changes to her body. Through these awkward and insecure feelings, the two girls must struggle to turn their first love into an enduring one.
