Some movie titles just stand out and make you want to watch them whether they end up being total rubbish or not. Eight-Legged Freaks was one, then there’s Zomboobies, the recent Errors of the Human Body another, and now, Frogz Legz. Whilst the title is dubious in its casual racism given the plot scenario: imagine the French really were ‘frogs’, it’s clearly a comedy and this teaser trailer is hilarious. Less Oh là là and more oh-la-I’m-gonna-be-eaten-alive.

Frogz Legz is being made by music vid director Corin Hardy and screenwriter Tom de Ville, and sees a bunch of lads go off to Brittany searching for hot girls and finding the inhabitants of the town they’re staying in to be packed with what is described as ‘were-frogs’. How very Shadow Over Innsmouth (H.P. Lovecraft reference).

This teaser trailer turned up on Youtube and reported via Twitch. We concur with the American site that labelling the teaser ‘Sexy French Girl WTF’ is a smart move as it’s bound to attract a certain amount of attention. Interestingly, de Ville is also credited as one of the four co-writers on the forthcoming Hammer flick, The Quiet Ones, which is filming at the moment.

The teaser is fun and very strange … where fantasy turns into a nightmare. They’ll no doubt be a proper trailer in the near future but for now check out this promo reel. Could this be one for a future FrightFest?
