A trailer has finally emerged for the George Lucas scripted-produced WW2 film, Red Tails. The story concerns African American pilots during the Second World War. Apparently Lucas wasn’t much happpy with director Anthony Hemingway’s results and re-shot stuff himself last year. Red Tails is released in the US January 20th, so expect to see it over here in England sometime in 2012.

Terrence Howard and Cuba Gooding Jr. topline the ensemble war adventure Red Tails, based on the courageous true-life exploits of the African-American World War II fighter pilots. George Lucas executive produces the picture, with Anthony Hemingway directing from a John Ridley script.
